Congress 2012!

We had a great congress this year!! Gina and Doug 17th in nov am horsemanship, 5th in nov am equitation, 8th in nov am HUS!! Kerry and Legs 13th in 14-18 Eq over fences and 15th in 14-18 Hunter Hack!!! Congrats to Chad Sandoval on winning the nov am driving with Cowboy!!!

Change to the lesson schedule & Updates!!!

Kim leaves for Congress on October 11th, and returns on October 22nd, so there is a slight change to the lesson schedule.

There WILL NOT lessons the week of the 14th, or the week of the 21st.

Lessons will resume as scheduled the week of October 28th.

Good Luck to Kerry with Marvin and Legs, and to Gina with Doug at Congress!!

**If you need to schedule a make up lesson or would like to come practice your dressage pattern you may do so the week of the 21st on Wednesday or Thursday.

Please let us know if you would like to schedule a practice/make up lesson time.
*Anyone planning on showing October 27th should plan to come out and ride that week.

August/September Newsletter!

Hello everyone!

Congratulations to everyone on a successful and challenging show season. A big thank you to all the parents for their support and encouragement! Sadly another show season is coming to an end. Betsy is already off to college, and Kerry leaves September 1st. A huge thank you for all their help this Summer, it was greatly appreciated and we couldn’t have done it without you!

It’s hard to believe Summer is almost over, kids are going to be back to school and it’s time to schedule Fall lessons! The Fall session will be 8 weeks, beginning the week of September 10th. We will not have lessons the week of October 8th and the week of October 15th while Kim and Kerry are at Quarter Horse Congress! The last week of the session will be the week of November 12th.

Show kids will need to take one lesson a week.

Fall Schedule as follows:

Tuesday:

AM: 9:00 and 10:00

PM: 4:30 5:30 and the adult lesson at 6:30

Wednesday:

PM: 4:00 5:00 and 6:00

Thursday:

AM: 9:00 and 10:00

PM: 4:30 5:30 and 6:30

* We will do some private lessons and make up lessons on Saturdays. You will need to call/email to schedule Saturday lessons as we will not have them every Saturday.

*We would like to do some Fall trail rides and we will keep everyone posted on some dates and times!

We welcome Alli Curtis, a senior at Preble High School, to the Scarboro work team! On a side note, I am taking on an exchange student from Germany for the school year, his name is Leon Stolle. Kerry, Braeden, Larry, and I are all super excited! Not sure if Kerry is quite ready to give up her room
